At Pound Farm a holiday combines typical English scenery with the traditional beauty of the village of Butterleigh in Devon. Enjoy a caravan and fishing break all year round on this 80-acre Beef and Sheep farm.

We pride ourselves on the warm welcome we offer our visitors. You are welcome to explore the farm and enjoy the many interesting walks and beautiful scenery that a farm in the Devon Countryside can offer.

We also provide you with a fishing pond that is heavily stocked with Carp, Roach, Rudd, Tench and Perch. Many of our Mirror and Common Carp grow to double figures.

There is no closed season. You will be able to fish as many times as you like during your stay at no extra cost. There is an adjacent outbuilding/utility room, which you can use for storage of your fishing gear & bait. There is also a shower and toilet facility, within this area. This is also provided at no extra cost.

Pound farm is situated on the edge of the village of Butterleigh, which boasts a historic church and popular Inn that is famous for its food, served both lunch times and evenings. Butterleigh is situated just 4 miles off the M5 at junction 28, ideally situated for both exploring Exmoor and Dartmoor, both within a 20-mile radius. We are also well situated for exploring both the North and South Devon Coasts.

"We have had a lovely time, very relaxing, just what we needed. The fishing was great - plenty of carp, roach, rudd, perch, some tench and an eel ! Some of the carp were double figures and lost more than I caught as they kept snapping me up. Lovely food at the Butterleigh Inn, sunday lunch really nice. Caravan very comfy and dogs friendly. Had a really nice welcome from Anne and Rob and would recomend this holiday to our family and friends."

"Lovely people and most helpful. Lovely site in a lovely area. Caught 22 carp + roach and a tench - mostly on double maggot but a few on sweetcorn. Fridge in shed excellent for keeping bait and old hen house near pond saved on energy as tackle stayed there all week."
